Privacy
Dewpoint has no account, no analytics and no advertising. Almost everything it knows stays on your phone. This page says exactly what does not.

What leaves your phone
Your approximate location
To fetch a forecast, Dewpoint sends coordinates to Open-Meteo, the weather service it uses. Nothing else is sent with them: no identifier, no account, nothing that ties the request to you.
The coordinates are deliberately coarse. The app asks iOS for a three-kilometre fix rather than a precise one, and rounds the result to two decimal places — about 1.1 km — before storing or sending it. A precise position is never held, not even on the device. Open-Meteo's forecast grid is kilometres wide, so this costs nothing in accuracy.
Your intervals.icu API key, if you connect it
The key is stored in the iOS Keychain and is sent only to intervals.icu, to authenticate you to your own account there and read your planned workouts. It goes nowhere else, and it is removed from the Keychain when you disconnect.
What never leaves your phone
Your calendar
If you grant calendar access, Dewpoint reads events from the calendars you choose, one at a time, so it can avoid suggesting an hour you are already booked. Those events are read on the device, used to rule windows out, and never transmitted, stored or copied anywhere.
Your workouts and settings
Planned sessions fetched from intervals.icu are held in memory to work out a duration and an intensity. Your preferences — hours, sliders, units, activity settings — are stored on the device only.
What there is none of
No accounts. No advertising. No analytics or crash reporting. No third-party trackers or SDKs that collect anything. Nothing is sold or shared, because nothing is collected to sell or share. There is no server belonging to Dewpoint at all — the app talks to Open-Meteo, and to intervals.icu if you connect it, and to nothing else.
Children
Dewpoint is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. A change that affects what is collected will also appear in the App Store privacy labels, which Apple shows before you install.
